Your use of service by Fresh Tech Maid is governed by the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully.
By using this FreshTechMaids.com for personal use or to book cleanings from Fresh Tech Maid, you agree to comply with, and to be bound by, this Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not use this web site and any service provided by Fresh Tech Maid. This Terms of Service is applicable to Use of FreshTechMaids.com
CLEANING SUPPLIES/EQUIPMENT
Fresh Tech Maid provides environmentally-friendly chemical free products and chemical based cleaning products, and most equipment required for the cleaning. Clients are required to provide a functional vacuum and running water.
If you want high areas cleaned, you must provide a two-step ladder. If you would like us to use specialty products (e.g., simple green, bleach, stainless steel cleaner, sponge mop), please leave it out and include this request in your special account instructions.
CONFIRMATION
Booking a service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date/time. You will be contacted by email or phone with a confirmation.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Cleaning technicians have the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extreme condition or they feel unsafe/threatened. If you book a cleaning online that is unreasonable, such as inaccurate information on the size or unsafe condition of a home, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot and you will be charged the maximum cancellation fee.
ENSURE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE WORK ENVIRONMENT
By using our service, you authorize our cleaning technicians to start/adjust AC system or the heating system of your home. Our cleaning technicians need to work in a safe and comfortable environment to add the most value for you, our valued clients. All clients are required to put AC or Heat on. Please set temperature between 68 degrees Fahrenheit to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. If more than 76 degrees Fahrenheit, please provide fans that can help our cleaning technicians to manage. In the meantime, if out of the above temperature range, our cleaning technician may leave a job if she or he feels unsafe due to the temperature.
PRICE ADJUSTMENTS
If the pricing calculator underestimates the price of your cleaning because the condition of your home is much worse than predicted or because you did not input the accurate information into our online pricing calculator, we will first inform you by call and email. We will work with you to either reduce workload to keep the current price or to add additional cost for extra time. We usually inform clients about such a situation at the mid-point of the cleaning. If a client is not reachable and does not respond to our update timely during a cleaning, we will clean based on the quoted price with reduced workload. Client agrees to pay technician’s parking cost, if incurred.
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, OR UNABLE TO ACCESS
Fresh Tech Maid will assess a $80 cancellation fee if a repeat clean is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of a scheduled cleaning. If repeat cleanings have been canceled more than one time in a 4-month period with less than 48 hours of scheduled cleaning, the client agrees to pay the full price for the canceled cleaning. For one time cleanings, initial cleanings, post-construction cleanings, and move-in or move-out cleanings, a 75% of the estimated price as cancellation / rescheduling fee will be applied for cleans canceled or scheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled cleaning. If our cleaning technician can not access your home on the day of a scheduled cleaning, a lock-out fee of 100% of your cleaning price will be applied.
RECURRING PRICE STRUCTURE
If you skip cleanings so that your cleaning’s frequency is lower than what you were set up for, your price will be increased to the pricing level for the lower frequency.
DIRECT HIRING OF OUR CLEANING TECHNICIANS
Fresh Tech Maid invests heavily in training methods and background screenings to find quality employees. Hiring our current or ex-worker(s), and/or accepting side propositions, makes you liable for an employment referral fee of $5,000.00 if you directly employ (legally or cash basis) anyone currently or formerly employed by us within the two year period prior to such employment. By using our service, you agree to notify us of any attempts to solicit or accept illegal business, otherwise; Attorney, Legal and miscellaneous expenses incurred to investigate and/or collect this fee will be added if this employment is discovered. Exchanging contact info is considered part of this breach. Unless complying with all laws; direct, unreported, or inappropriate employment practices are illegal. You acknowledge being informed that Fresh Tech Maid is obligated to report illegal hiring activities. In fact, anyone may report this to the proper government and judicial authorities so investigation ensues. Implication, complicity, or withholding knowledge of illegal activity is not only prosecutable by Fresh Tech Maid (when applicable), but also by United States federal and local laws.
EMPLOYEE SAFETY
Fresh Tech Maid reserves the right to remove its employees from your home should the environment become unsafe. Our cancellation policy will apply. Due to Covid-19, you must meet the following conditions to be a client of Fresh Tech Maid:
- You or any member of your household, have no Covid-19 in the last 5days.
- You or anyone in your household have no contact with anyone who had Covid 19 in the last 5 days.
- You or any member of your household have no flu-like symptoms and no fever without medication in the last 7 days.
- It is your obligation to call Fresh Tech Maid at 847.392.0888 Ext 2 at least 10 hours before a cleaning, if any of the above status changes.
- Support our cleaning technician to practice social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet away from others in the home.
PETS
We will gladly work around pets. If your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, Fresh Tech Maid reserves the right to remove its employees from your home. If an employee leaves your home prior to completion, Fresh Tech Maid will charge you a pro-rated expense based on work performed. If removal of our cleaning technician is due to aggressive pets, our cancellation policy will apply.
BREAKAGE/DAMAGE AND LOSS POLICY
Customers must provide proof that damages were caused at the time of the cleaning. All claims must be made within 24 hours of the cleaning. Once the office receives the notification, we will contact you as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you within the next 30 days, we will assume you do not want to have us resolve the issue and the situation will void. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, Fresh Tech Maid requests all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. Fresh Tech Maid is not responsible for the breakage of these irreplaceable items. Fresh Tech Maid is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (i.e., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm. All legs of chairs and light tables are assumed protected and ready to be slid without scratching hardwood floors. Fresh Tech Maid assumes normal operating conditions for doors, handles, blinds, and etc. Regular operations, such as open a door, open a curtain, or pull up blinds can not cause breakage. If we are specifically requested to clean the inside of a hutch/china cabinet or wash dishes or wine glasses, the client agrees not to hold Fresh Tech Maid or any of its employees responsible for damage to any article or component.
DELAYS
Cleaning Technicians are allowed a one-hour window to deal with traffic, parking, and other surprises.
RE-CLEANS
If for some reason you are unhappy with the service, please contact us within 24 hours so that FTM may rectify the problem. Fresh Tech Maid does not offer refunds for purchases made or discounts from complaints, but we absolutely guarantee the quality of service by fixing any quality issues and optimizing the cleaning in the future. Any re-cleans can only be done with the same cleaning technician(s) unless there is a schedule conflict for the technician and only within the first 72 hours of the cleaning. If you are at home and you notice that the cleaner overlooked something please immediately tell the cleaner to re-clean the area or call our office before the cleaner leaves your home.
VALUABLES
Please safely secure heirlooms and collectibles prior to cleanings. Please advise us how you would like your fragile items handled (and their care) in special account instructions.
LARGE AND HEAVY ITEMS
For safety and liability reasons, Fresh Tech Maid will not allow its cleaning professionals to lift or move heavy items or furniture.
SATISFACTION POLICY
Fresh Tech Maid cannot guarantee the results of mini-blind, grout, chandelier, or vaulted ceiling fan cleaning. Mold remediation is a specialty. Fresh Tech Maid does not provide mold remediation and cannot be liable for any mold-related risks in client’s homes. Fresh Tech Maid does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained, or mildewed caulking and grout. Fresh Tech Maid does not guarantee the same technician for our service.
ADVANCED DISINFECTION FOGGING SERVICE
For the Advanced Disinfection Fogging Service, the client must disclose the Covid 19 status of the household truthfully. We can NOT provide the service if:
- There is a known acute COVID-19 positive person present in the home during our Disinfection Fogging service.
- There is anyone who has flu-like symptoms, but did not conduct COVID-19 test that is present in the home during our service.
- There is anyone who has flu-like symptoms and is waiting for COVID-19 test result that is present in the home during our service.
The client must agree that:
- All people present in the household during the cleaning / fogging should wear masks and observe social distancing. It is mandatory for clients to open windows to encourage air flow upon arrival of our disinfecting specialist.
- Pets, children, and people need to be in a separate room, as we fog, we need to allow the solution at least 5 minutes undisturbed, while the solution does its disinfecting magic.
- Put all paperwork away. The machine sounds like a vacuum and atomizes the solution in order to be fogged; because of this, paperwork can be blown around.
- Electronics are fine where they are.
- Paintings and anything sensitive to higher humidity should be moved into a safe area or covered. The client has the full responsibility to ensure this. FTM will not be responsible for any damage caused due to the moisture and the disinfectant.
- Birds should be moved elsewhere. This is recommended as a precaution.
- Place open food containers inside cupboards.
- Cover fish tanks.

- By submitting your phone and email information in any forms of FreshTechMaids.com, you agree to Fresh Tech Maid's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and you give consent to Fresh Tech Maid to send you SMS messages related to its services. ADDITIONAL TERMS OF USE
By booking any cleaning from this web site, you agree with this Terms and Condition of Use. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
USE LICENSE
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Fresh Tech Maid web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. Any claim relating to Fresh Tech Maid’s web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Fresh Tech Maid reserves the right to remove its employees from your home should the environment become unsafe. Our cancellation policy will apply. Due to COVID-19, you must meet the following conditions to be a client of Fresh Tech Maid:
- You or any member of your household have no Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
- You or anyone in your household have had no contact with anyone who had Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
- You or any member of your household have had no flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days.
- It is your obligation to call Fresh Tech Maid at (847)-392-0888 Ext. 2 at least 10 hours before a cleaning, if any of the above status changes.
- Support our cleaning technician to practice social distancing, keeping at least 6 ft away from others in the home.
CORE OFFER TERM OF SERVICE
Fresh Tech Maid provides a comprehensive service guarantee and an extra service guarantee for the Core Offer cleaning package. We will keep working for the client free of charge until the client is fully satisfied with the house cleaning service during the 3 to 5 months coverage and has gained 1.5 hours per week of free time from outsourcing the cleaning. Payment for this program is structured with (1) 50% due upon the completion of the first cleaning and the remaining 50% due in 30 days or (2) 100% due upon the completion of the first cleaning. Per our general Terms of Service, there is no refund after any purchase from FTM. We do, however, absolutely stand 100% behind the quality of our service.
BARTER CLIENTS TERM OF SERVICE
1. Fresh Tech Maids require all barter clients to agree additional terms specified in this document. Barter clients must also agree with the standard Terms of Service.
2. Barter customers will also have a fixed schedule. Your home will always be cleaned by a certified home cleaning technician of Fresh Tech Maid. However, although we will strive to provide the same technician, it is likely that different technicians will clean your home due to the special backup role for the primary technician. If we have staffing shortages, cash customers have higher priority. So, please
understand that sometimes we will need to modify your schedule on short notice. We would like to minimize these kinds of changes. However, this kind of adjustment will happen. We always strive to service all customers with the highest standard.
3. If there is an emergency in our operations, which normally happens infrequently, your cleaning maybe rescheduled on short notice. We will provide alternatives to minimize the inconvenience. We will do our best to ensure your normal cleaning frequency.
4. Barter clients must be available to review the cleaning results at the end of the cleaning. If the results are approved by the clients or if the client is not available to review the results, further complaints that require re-cleaning will not be honored.
5. The quality of our cleaning will not be compromised in any case. We will stand behind our standard cleaning quality, in spite of the above special arrangements
6. If we can not access your home upon arrival as agreed, then Fresh Tech Maid will charge the full quoted price for the cleaning.
