Your use of service by Fresh Tech Maid is governed by the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully.

By using this FreshTechMaids.com for personal use or to book cleanings from Fresh Tech Maid, you agree to comply with, and to be bound by, this Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not use this website and any service provided by Fresh Tech Maid. This Terms of Service is applicable to Use of FreshTechMaids.com.

Cleaning Supplies/Equipment

Fresh Tech Maid provides environmentally-friendly chemical free products and chemical based cleaning products, and most equipment required for the cleaning. Clients are required to provide a functional vacuum and running water.

If you want high areas cleaned, you must provide a two-step ladder. If you would like us to use specialty products (e.g., simple green, bleach, stainless steel cleaner, sponge mop), please leave it out and include this request in your special account instructions.

Confirmation

Booking a service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date/time. You will be contacted by email or phone with a confirmation.

Right to Refuse Service

Cleaning technicians have the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extreme condition or they feel unsafe/threatened. If you book a cleaning online that is unreasonable, such as inaccurate information on the size or unsafe condition of a home, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot and you will be charged the maximum cancellation fee.

Ensure Safe and Comfortable Work Environment

By using our service, you authorize our cleaning technicians to start/adjust AC or heating systems as needed. Our cleaning technicians need a safe and comfortable environment. Clients must set the temperature between 68°F and 76°F. If above 76°F, fans must be provided. If out of this range, technicians may leave if they feel unsafe.

Price Adjustments

If the pricing calculator underestimates your cleaning cost due to inaccurate input or worse conditions than expected, we will inform you. You can either reduce workload or pay for additional time. If unreachable during the cleaning, service will proceed at the quoted price with reduced workload. Clients agree to pay technician parking costs if incurred.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, or Unable to Access

Fresh Tech Maid will assess an $80 cancellation fee if a repeat clean is canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled cleaning. For one-time, initial, post-construction, and move-in/move-out cleanings, a 75% cancellation/rescheduling fee applies if canceled within 48 hours. If our technician cannot access your home, a 100% lock-out fee will apply.

Recurring Price Structure

If you skip cleanings and reduce frequency, your price will increase to match the lower frequency rate.

Direct Hiring of Our Cleaning Technicians

Hiring or accepting side propositions from our current or former workers incurs a $5,000 employment referral fee. Fresh Tech Maid will report illegal hiring activities. Exchanging contact info for such purposes is a violation and may result in legal action.

Employee Safety

Fresh Tech Maid may remove employees from unsafe environments. The cancellation policy will apply. Due to COVID-19, clients must meet these conditions:

Pets

We work around pets, but if a pet becomes anxious or poses a safety risk, we may stop service. Charges will apply for partial work. If due to an aggressive pet, the cancellation policy applies.

Breakage/Damage and Loss Policy

Claims must be made within 24 hours with proof. Irreplaceable or fragile items should be secured prior to cleaning. Fresh Tech Maid is not responsible for damage to faulty or improperly installed items or items not suitable for cleaning. We assume normal operating conditions for household fixtures.

Delays

Cleaning technicians are allowed a one-hour window to accommodate traffic, parking, or other delays.

Re-cleans

Contact us within 24 hours if unsatisfied. We don’t offer refunds but will fix any quality issues within 72 hours. Re-cleans are done by the same technician unless unavailable.

Valuables

Please secure heirlooms and fragile items before cleaning. Provide instructions in your special account notes if needed.

Large and Heavy Items

For safety reasons, our cleaners cannot lift or move heavy furniture or items.

Satisfaction Policy

Fresh Tech Maid cannot guarantee results for certain cleanings such as blinds, grout, chandeliers, or mold remediation. We do not assume responsibility for restoration of worn or mildewed areas or guarantee the same technician for each visit.

Additional Terms of Use

By booking services through this site, you agree to these terms. Materials are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of materials for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not modify, copy, or redistribute them. This license terminates upon violation or notice by Fresh Tech Maid.

Disclaimer

All materials are provided “as is”. Fresh Tech Maid makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding accuracy or fitness for purpose.

Limitations

Fresh Tech Maid is not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use materials, even if notified. Some jurisdictions may not allow such limitations.

Revisions and Errata

Materials may contain errors and are subject to change without notice. Fresh Tech Maid does not guarantee updates or completeness.

Fresh Tech Maid is not responsible for the content of linked sites. Use of any linked site is at the user’s own risk.

Site Terms of Use Modifications

Fresh Tech Maid may revise these terms at any time without notice. Continued use constitutes agreement to the current terms.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Fresh Tech Maid’s website shall be governed by Illinois state law without regard to conflict of law provisions.

COVID-19

Fresh Tech Maid reserves the right to remove employees from unsafe environments. The cancellation policy applies. Clients must meet the following conditions:

  1. No household member has had COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  2. No contact with anyone who had COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  3. No flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days.
  4. Notify Fresh Tech Maid at (847)-392-0888 Ext. 2 at least 10 hours before cleaning if status changes.
  5. Maintain 6 ft distance during cleaning.

Core Offer Term of Service

Fresh Tech Maid provides a comprehensive guarantee for Core Offer cleaning packages. We will continue working until the client is satisfied within the 3–5 month coverage period. Payment options include 50% upfront and 50% in 30 days or full payment upfront. There are no refunds, but service quality is guaranteed.

Barter Clients Term of Service

Barter clients must agree to these additional terms and the standard Terms of Service:

  1. Barter customers have fixed schedules; cash clients have higher priority during shortages.
  2. Schedules may change on short notice; Fresh Tech Maid will minimize inconvenience.
  3. Clients must review results at the end of cleaning. Failure to do so voids re-clean eligibility.
  4. Quality standards will not be compromised.
  5. If access is denied upon arrival, full quoted price applies.
